Our philosophy
Pawtraits on the Go focuses on the love we have for our pets and capturing their wonderful personalities to cherish forever. We believe every pet has a story to tell, and we're dedicated to creating beautiful, timeless Pawtraits that reflect their true essence.
Pets are family, and every moment with them is precious, Pawtraits on the Go brings professional-quality pet photography right to your home, park or favorite Reno spot-so capturing moments is stress-free for both pets and owners.

Comfort is key
Pawtraits on the Go comes to the pet and owner wherever the pet is most comfortable. This ensures the photos show their authentic personality, instead of you having to go to an uncomfortable photography studio. We understand that some pets experience anxiety in new environments, which is why we prioritize their comfort above all else.

Our passion
I have always had a camera in my hand, wanting to capture the wonderful memories we have in our lives. I started photographing my animals out on walks in parks because I noticed they had more personality than if I had them somewhere inside with lights all over them. Over time, I became passionate about helping other animals like mine—especially those with anxiety—feel comfortable while their owners get photos to cherish.
I realized that photographing pets in natural environments not only brings out their true character but also creates images that feel authentic and timeless. Each session became less about posing and more about storytelling, capturing the bond between animals and their humans in a way that feels genuine. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a calling, and now I strive to give families lasting memories of their pets in moments where they are happiest—running through fields, sniffing around trees, or simply enjoying the fresh air.
Our story
Every pet owner knows that their furry companion is more than just an animal—they’re family. For me, that truth became clear the moment I adopted my dog, Abby. She was shy and had public anxiety at first, but the camera brought out her spirit in a way I hadn’t seen before. One photo— her tongue was hanging, eyes glowing with joy—capturing everything I loved about her. That moment sparked the idea for Pawtraits on the Go, a mobile pet photography service created right here in Reno.
I realized that traditional photo studios can be stressful for pets. The bright lights, strange smells, and unfamiliar surroundings often lead to anxious animals—and forced photos. I wanted to change that. Pawtraits on the Go was built on the belief that the best photos come from natural moments—your dog chasing a ball in the park, your cat basking in a sunny window, your rabbit nibbling clover in the yard.
So instead of asking pets to come to me, I decided to come to them. My mobile setup lets me photograph animals where they’re happiest—at home or outdoors—turning ordinary moments into extraordinary keepsakes. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a wise old cat, or even a pair of best-friend guinea pigs, I capture their true personalities in every shot.
Each session is more than just a photoshoot—it’s a celebration of companionship. Seeing pet owners light up when they receive their photos reminds me why I started this journey. Every wag, every purr, every nuzzle tells a story—and Pawtraits on the Go is here to help you keep that story forever.
